It got even better for the home side just nine minutes later as Salah ran onto an excellent pass from Fabinho. He got the better of Luiz once again and cruised past Monreal, slipping the ball into the bottom corner to make it three in excellent fashion.

Arsenal had their fair share of chances during the game and got a late consolation goal via Lucas Torreira, who converted after the ball fell to him in the box via Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Liverpool keep their place at the top of the league table after three games, with ’s side looking to continue where they left off from last year.
