A Pre-Christmas Treat: Liverpool Host Arsenal in Top Of Table Tilt

Liverpool hope to give all of their supporters the gift of Arsenal in a huge pre-Christmas showdown at Anfield today, Saturday, December 23rd. The two combatants are separated by just a single point at the top of the EPL Table and the winner will claim the top spot heading into the New Year.

All Eyes On Anfield

This is a big match, not only because it features two perennial Premier League powers, but there is a lot at stake with the result. Reds boss Jürgen Klopp is just as excited for this match as the fans are.

The first leg will be on Wednesday, January 10th at 20:00. The second leg is set for Wednesday, January 24th at Caven Cottage (20:00 kickoff), Both games will air on Sky Sports.

This one should be a lot of fun, Liverpool will have the advantage of playing on their home pitch which could prove to be the difference between two statistically similar clubs. Because of that, the Reds pull out an important 2-1 win.
