Yes, it's probably 99% accurate that Salah breezes past 200 goals for Liverpool but I want to explore that minuscule 1% that many haven't been aware of.

He'll Easily Hit 200 Goals

Mohamed Salah's lowest goal tally for Liverpool in all competitions was 23 goals in the 2019/20 season when he won the Premier League.

Since then, he's netted 31 goals in two consecutive seasons and 30 goals last season on the way to breaking many Liverpool records.

In the last couple of seasons, Salah became Liverpool's leading goalscorer in Premier League history and European competitions, overtaking former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard in both competitions.

Goals are what Mohamed Salah knows and feasts on and with just 13 goals left to hit 200 goals for the club, a milestone only four players in the history of the club have achieved, he will indeed be motivated to reach that whopping number this season.

The number of players suffering serious injuries this early into the season has been worrying, to say the least.

The short summer break and rigorous football schedule have long been criticised by managers, most notably Jürgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola, and the lack of rest for players has begun resulting in long-term injuries.

While Salah's injury record is impeccable, having never suffered a serious injury in his career, with the constant games being played, you just never know.

While he's become a master of penalties during his time at Liverpool, he's missed three of his last four and with the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister, who've missed just one penalty each in their career, lurking around the corner, one more miss from 12 yards could force Klopp to hand over penalty duties to one of his team-mates.
