Liverpool are likely to be without the services of Diogo Jota, who picked up a knock at Wolves last weekend and was yet to train with the squad before yesterday. Nathaniel Phillips will also be missing after sustaining a fractured cheekbone in midweek.
But the return of Roberto Firmino is a timely one, with the Brazilian back in team training earlier this week and possibly set to be included in the match-day squad for the first time in seven games.
The likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson and Thiago should all be involved from the off after sitting out the clash at the San Siro on Tuesday.
