The Reds dominated much of the game and looked threatening from the off, knowing a point against the Seagulls would see them secure Champions League football.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for the hosts with a record 32nd goal of the season in the league, whilst Dejan Lovren's bullet header doubled the lead five minutes before half-time.

Dominic Solanke and Andy Robertson then netted their first goals for the club in the second half to cap off a comfortable day for Jurgen Klopp's side.
