Jeremy Jacquet gets a start in the season opener vs. Newcastle, and Alexander Isak will get the start up top vs. his old team as Andoni Iraola trots out a strong starting XI today at St. James’ Park.

LFC Globe Verdict
This is a strong lineup, and there are also plenty of weapons, such as Alexis Mac Allister and Victor Muñoz, on the bench. As I said in the buildup, if this lineup can stay healthy, the Reds have a strong chance to lift some trophies this season.
