The club released a promotional video yesterday that featured Jurgen Klopp narrating an inspirational transcript that was well-received. Supporters had speculated whether this was in preparation of the launch.

The notice on the official website read, "Liverpool FC's new home kit for the 2018-19 season will be unveiled at 9am BST on Thursday.

"The redesigned New Balance strip for next term is set to be officially presented for the first time and will be available to pre-order immediately in club stores and online."

Counterfeit versions of the strip have already started selling in Asia, following the leaks. You can see these images in the gallery below.

New Balance have been the Reds' kit suppliers since the 2015/16 season, in a multi-year partnership that is the biggest in the history of the club.

Warrior, Liverpool's former supplier, were a subsidiary of New Balance, which meant the switch did not compromise the current six-year deal that has been in place from the beginning of the 2012-13 season.

The multi-year contract meant Liverpool's entire packaging for additional merchandising is worth a potential £300million.
