Liverpool got a goal on a late header from captain Virgil van Dijk as the Reds snatched three points from Everton in the Merseyside derby. 

  • Mamardashvili (7/10) Strong stop early. It was an unfortunate injury that forced him off
  • Robertson  (7/10)  Strong in defense and made a push forward in the second half that nearly resulted  in a goal 
  • Szoboszlai (7/10) Quiet game by his standards. Not enough time on the ball until the end.
  • Gravanberch (6/10)  Solid but not spectacular
  • Van Dijk (6/10) Strong on defensive headers, but struggled a bit when the game opened up
  • Konate (410) Like Jones, struggled with passes over the top and looked lost at times
  • Gakpo (8/10) Really good on the ball and a wonderful assist to Salah
  • Wirtz (6/10) Not a bad game per se, but the Reds need  more from a player of his caliber
  • Salah (810) Really strong game. Scored the goal and had other good moments coming forward
  • Isak (5/10) Barley any touches of consequence
  • Jones (5/10) Struggled defending balls over the top

The Substitutes

  • Woodman (6/10) Made a good save after coming on in tough circumstances
  • Ngumoha (5/10) Brought on to create chances. The one he did have he put height.
  • Mac Allister (6/10) Won some big duels in the middle of the pitch
  • Frimpong (6/10) Strong run in the box during stoppage time
  • Kerkez (5/10) Very few touches on the ball

The Manager

  • Arne Slot (7/10) The boss did his best with limited options and more injuries during the game  

LFC Globe Verdict

What a game!! The match appeared destined for a draw, but the old guard of Salah and Van Dijk turned back the clock with two goals that may have solidified the Champions League for next season

    Good to get the Points, given the Fact the Club
    have been @ a Borderline Bottom to Mid-Table Team,
    that would be Fortunate to Qualify for the Conference League,

    never-mind the Europa or Champions League.
    The Latter, which they're in pole position to attain,
    hasn't been achieved w/Solid Form, but from

    the Gift of the Chelsea Collapse prior to being
    Destroyed by MAN CITY in Similar Fashion to The Reds
    in the FA Cup OF
