‣ KO: 8:00pm (BST/GMT+1)
Following on from Liverpool's 1-0 victory over Huddersfield at the weekend, the Reds turn their attention back to their European campaign.
Jurgen Klopp's side looked below par during their last Group C meeting with Napoli, where they succumbed to a late 1-0 defeat, meaning victory against the Serbian side is crucial to the Reds' hopes of progressing to the knockout stages.
Napoli currently lead the group with four points, whilst Liverpool and PSG are both on three points; although the Reds hold an advantage over the French side on their head-to-head record.
The Reds are yet to look fluent in their attack this season and whilst Wednesday's fixture is the perfect opportunity to return to their form of last season, Klopp also warned his side against being complacent.
"Red Star are the team of Serbia, and made it really difficult for Napoli," he said. "And for PSG, even if the score wouldn't make you think so."
"When we have the ball, we have to attack with all that we have."
Team News
Klopp has had to deal with a whole host of injuries in recent weeks, with Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita both ruled out of tonight's fixture with hamstring injuries.
Meanwhile, Sadio Mane, James Milner and Gini Wijnaldum are all in contention having recovered from their respective knocks and are likely to play a starting role.
“Millie looks fine and should be OK, Gini got a knock on his Achilles but should be OK and Sadio trained and should be fine,” Klopp said.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to return to the side, whilst in midfield Fabinho is expected to make just his second start of the season, having played the full 90 minutes against Huddersfield on Saturday.
Milner and Wijnaldum could both start alongside the Brazilian, although Adam Lallana and Xherdan Shaqiri are also vying for a place in the starting eleven.
Mane is expected to start alongside Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah in attack, whilst Daniel Sturridge and Shaqiri are the alternatives for Klopp.
