Jurgen Klopp spoke to reporters at Melwood on Tuesday ahead of Liverpool's meeting with Watford in the Premier League.
The Reds are back at Anfield as they look to get back to winning ways following two goalless draws on the trot to Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
The point gained at Old Trafford on Sunday saw them go back above Manchester City to the top of the Premier League table, albeit with a slim one-point advantage.
Liverpool have looked jaded in 2019, whilst City are in exemplary form after somewhat of a blip at the end of last year.
There has been talk that the Reds may need 11 wins out of 11, starting with Watford on Wednesday, however Klopp refuted such talk.
“We don't have to look that far. It's so positive, and if you now only judge the moment and see the opportunity, then everything is fine,” he said.
“But if you always look one week back, two weeks back, three weeks back, where we drop points or we concede goals, and you talk like ‘we have to win' instead of ‘we can win', then that makes life a little bit more uncomfortable.
“For a lot of supporters it would be the first time in their life that they are champions, and for a lot of my players as well. It's a pure opportunity, a pure opportunity, and you have to use it on the front foot.”
Klopp insists Liverpool will need to be ready for both the defensive and attacking sides of Watford, and have they will need to show their ability to deal with their threats.
“They are on a good run, have different styles of play; against the top six they don't have possession but [are a] good counter-attacking threat, from set pieces, second balls, deep defending all that stuff,” he said.
“Against other teams they are much more proactive. We need to be ready for both but probably we will have the ball for some time in the game and need to be ready for that.
The boss also insisted Roberto Firmino could be available despite suffering an ankle injury at Old Trafford.
Dejan Lovren, Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are still sidelined, whilst Naby Keita is a slight doubt with illness.
