Watch: Liverpool supporters hit town after sensational Everton win

It may have been a Sunday evening, but Liverpool supporters continued their derby day celebrations well after their incredible late victory.

Liverpool beat their local rivals 1-0 in sensational fashion, with substitute grabbing the headlines after nodding in a late winner at the Kop end.

It was followed by incredible scenes, with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp running on to the pitch to embrace goalkeeper Alisson amidst all four sides of going crazy.

Origi, the unlikely hero of the night with his first Reds goal since March 2017, had his name ringing around Anfield at full-time.

However, it didn't stop there. Liverpool supporters carried on their celebrations, hitting the district in Liverpool city centre to belt out some amazing renditions.

The supporters gathered at Boss Night on Jordan Street, with Jamie Webster, Kieran Molyneux and Daniel Nicolson in attendance, as they belted out some catchy renditions.

First up was a tribute to goalscorer Origi, with supporters adapting his song from a few years ago.

"It's Saturday night and I like the way you move, Divock Origi! It's Sunday night and he scored against the sh*te, Divock Origi," the crowd sung.

Then came a classic, with Liverpool supporters wishing fans a Merry Christmas, with their own added twist, "Mane scoring, all around us, Kopites singing, having fun!"

There was also a song for , who saw his looping mis-hit shot hit the crossbar prompting Jordan Pickford to spill the ball towards Origi's direction.

The crowd all sang together: "He's our centre-half, he's our number four. Watch him defend, and we watch him score. He'll pass the ball, calm as you like. He's Virgil van Dijk, he's Virgil van Dijk!"

It was a night to remember for Liverpool supporters, with the bizarre method of victory proving to be especially memorable against their fierce rivals.

The Reds next take on on Wednesday night and the travelling Reds are sure to be in full voice as they look to keep up pace with leaders Man City.
