Roberto Firmino the latest Liverpool player to score on international duty

Liverpool forward scored for Brazil against the Czech Republic in a 3-1 friendly on Tuesday.

, and have all netted for their countries on duty so far, with Sadio Mane scoring and assisting to help Senegal to a dramatic 2-1 win on Tuesday.

Later in the day, Liverpool duo Alisson and Firmino both started for Brazil in a friendly against Czech Republic, whilst was on the bench.

The Reds goalkeeper impressed with some impressive shot-stopping in the first half but Firmino looked quite lethargic in the early stages.

Brazil looked out of sorts and went into the interval a goal down after David Pavelka put the hosts 1-0 up in the 37th minute.

However, Brazil were back in the game just four minutes into the second half as Firmino's impressive awareness saw him chase down a wayward back-pass.

The Liverpool forward out-muscled his way through and slotted to score his ninth international goal and equalise for the visitors.

Fabinho was given a brief outing after coming on to replace Firmino in the closing stages of the game, with Brazil eventually running out 3-1 winners.

striker Gabriel Jesus scored twice in the last ten minutes to secure victory for the Selecao.

The trio will return to Liverpool on Wednesday morning and will have four days to recover before facing Tottenham at in a crunch clash.
