Klopp unhappy with PSG's play-acting and storms out of interview

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes his side had to put up with 's play-acting as he urges his side to rise to the occasion.

Liverpool were beaten 2-1 by PSG at the Parc de Princes on Wednesday night following two first-half goals from the side, whilst eliminated after a 3-1 .

The result means Liverpool have to beat Napoli either 1-0 or by two clear goals on the final matchday to secure progression to the knockout stages.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was unhappy following the fixture, claiming PSG play-acting was an obstacle they had to dodge throughout the game.

Following the game, Klopp said: "We will fly back and prepare for the derby. Then on the 11 December we have a proper final at .

"The start was like what we expected, it was very wild and intense and they took all the risks. When a game starts like that it is difficult to gain confidence so it was never our game.

"Another little hurdle we had to overcome was the 500,000 disruptions in the second half and the referee still thinks he did everything right.

"We are one of the fairest teams in England but tonight we looked like butchers. We have to take the result but it still feels a bit rubbish and now we have to use Anfield one more time."

Klopp was not happy at all after the game, with another interview with Bein Sports seeing him walk storm off after being asked to elaborate on his views about PSG and Neymar in particular.

Marco Verratti was shown a yellow for a late challenge on in the first-half and Klopp also added that he thinks the midfielder should have been sent off.

"Everyone has eyes. For me it's a red card yes," he said.
