Jurgen Klopp delighted with Liverpool side for reaching 'fantastic' points tally

Jurgen Klopp was delighted with his side's performance as the Reds thrashed 5-0 at on Friday night.

Naby Keita scored the Reds' quickest goal with an effort inside 15 seconds whilst Sadio Mane and put them 3-0 up at half-time.

The duo netted again in the second-half to secure a 5-0 for the Reds and respectively reach 20 and 21 goals in the league so far this season.

Liverpool have now accumulated a club record 91 points in the Premier League with two games to go, sitting in first place before 's trip to on Sunday.

Klopp was in a joyful mood after the game as he praised his side for showing the right composure to reach a landmark points tally.

"All in all it was great, a really brilliant performance," said Klopp. "Composure and everything that you need was there. So really happy.

"It's obviously an outstanding group of players, who did well against a Huddersfield side who are much better than this result shows. They had proper counter attacks so we needed to be patient and we scored wonderful goals.

"To have 91 points is just fantastic. What a number that is and if we get to the end of the season and another team have more points, you just have to accept they were better."

There was a return for , who has been on the sidelines for over a year with a knee injury.

The midfielder featured for a little over 15 minutes and came close to scoring with one of his first few touches.

"It's brilliant, it's so good," Klopp said of the 25-year-old. "It's over a year now. He's such a wonderful person. We are so happy for him.

"It's a perfect day, nothing happened injury-wise and we won."

The Reds face in the first-leg of their semi-final on Wednesday and is an injury doubt after missing Friday's win with a knock.

However, Klopp eased worries over the Brazilian, insisting his absence was more of a pre-caution rather than anything too serious.
